Artwork Progress

Simone and Adrian have started fabrication of their artworks.

Below are some photos of the models that Simone made to explore the form and scale of her "Swamp Forms". There are also a couple of photos of the armatures or reinforcing frames that will support the concrete fondue that she is using to sculpt her work.







If you happen to be stopping by the Kemp Place site, you will notice lots of spray paint marks. Some of these indicate where underground service lines are located, while the white ones show where the artist's artworks are going to be installed.

Brisbane City Council Works Dept has also started excavation for the seating slabs and have moved one of the memorials to make way for Adrian's work.
