A celebration to mark the completion of work two years in the making, inspired and generated by the ideas of student participants in Living City workshops in 2008 and 2009.

The event will include an official launch by state government and Brisbane City Council dignitaries and an exhibition of all student work from Living City workshops held in 2008 and 2009. Official proceedings will commence at 2.30pm.

All student participants in LC2008 and 2009 will be expected to come along. Their friends, classmates, parents and teachers will be invited, along with members of art and design communities with an interest in the Valley. It may be difficult for students to get there at 2.00, but they are encouraged to drop in whenever they can as there will be plenty to see and do right up until the 4.30 closing, including being individually acknowledged for their contribution.

The launch event will be one of the many Q150 events hosted around Brisbane.
